Small wooden house at Øvre Strandgate (Upper Strandgate) number 62, located in Gamle Stavanger (Old Stavanger). It has been build about 1856 by Michael Ølberg.
Old Stavanger consists of 173 protected and restored small wooden cottages that were built in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The area, also known as Straen, is Northern Europe's best-preserved wooden house complex. Most of the houses are small and painted white.
